E-Church Family,
Thank you for your faithful support. What a mighty teaching we received from our Bishop this past Sunday. This week we are going to build off Bishop’s message Faith is a Perspective. Our Bishop mentioned yesterday faith is one thing we all need to survive in this world. Jesus said it best in Mark 11:22 when he said, “Have faith in God.” We must have faith in God even when we do not have faith in ourselves. God’s grace is sufficient for us and his strength is made perfect in our weakness. I’d like to share some thoughts with you about our Bishops message on the perspective of faith.
The bible says in Hebrew 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith is the ingredient or the end game of what we are trying to get. We can say faith is a selection or a perspective that we have to choose on the inside. We are all under attack but it’s our choice to walk by fear or by faith. As Bishop stated, “We need our faith the strongest when our fear is the loudest.” The only way we can survive is to do what it says in 2 Corinthians 5:7. We must walk by faith and not by sight.
I’d like to leave you with one final thought. Our Bishop mentioned Romans 10:17. We understand our faith comes by hearing and hearing by God’s word. When the enemy tempted Jesus in Matthew 4:4 Jesus replied with, “It is written.” It was the word of God that Jesus used as his weapon. It is the evidence we have that will settle every dispute from the enemy. We must fight fear, depression, and every false accusation of the enemy with faith.
Let me say a quick word of prayer over you. Father God, we know that your word is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. It is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. It pulls down strongholds and rebukes every false argument from the enemy. It was your word that framed time and eternity. We shall not live by food and bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of your mouth. Strengthen us to be ready for every life situation and circumstance on our path to the better place we desire. The city you have prepared for us. In Jesus’s mighty name. Amen.
Always thinking about you Echurch family and praying for you constantly.
Have a blessed week,
Pastor Onterio Green
